Description
We are excited for our upcoming Junior Eagles Cheer tryouts!  Registration will open on March 2, 2026 and close on April 13, 2026.  The tryout clinic begins Monday, April 20th.

Cheerleader Eligibility Requirements:
  • Age:  You must be a rising 6th, 7th or 8th grader and live in the Etowah district.  
  • Grades:  Passing grades (A-C) in all classes as well as satisfactory conduct grades.  Report cards must be submitted when registering.
  • Discipline:  No outstanding disciplinary issues at school.  Any disciplinary issues must be reported to the EJC Board.
  • Previous Cheer Account:  All uniform rental and balances from any prior season with EJC must be in good standing.
Tryout Registration Paperwork:
  • Register online at www.etowahjuniorcheer.com.  Create a parent account and then add your athlete to your account to start registration.
  • Registration fee - $45 payable online (must be paid by April 13th)
  • Copy of your most recent report card (no progress reports)
  • Athletic Parental Consent, Insurance, Authorization and Waiver Release Form
  • Physical Form - must be uploaded to the website (please make a copy)

I have read, understand, and agree to the Etowah Junior Cheer Rules and Guidelines, and its expectations, responsibilites, and policies.  I, furthermore, understand and agree to the consequences for my child's failure to abide by the Rules and Guidelines, and its expectations, responsibilities, and consequences.  I understand that the coach, Board, and athletic director have final say in all disciplinary consequences, including dismissal from the Etowah Junior Cheer Program.  I agree to the time commitment required from both, my child and myself.  I agree to all the financial obligations associated with Etowah Junior Cheer.
